EggHead Digital Design LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates the FireIQ Prep application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing).
Profile Information: You may voluntarily provide additional information such as your work experience, certifications, education, and career goals to enhance your interview preparation.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the App, including practice session history, feature usage, and interaction patterns to improve the service.
Content You Create: Stories, resumes, cover letters, and other content you create within the App are stored on our servers to provide the service.
Subscription Information: Payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store), Google (Google Play), or Stripe. We do not store your credit card or payment details. We receive subscription status information to manage your access.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Replit's secure infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, secure session management with single-device enforcement, and HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (available in App settings), all associated data is permanently removed, including your profile, stories, practice history, department research, and any other user-generated content.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt-out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data based on your consent (when you create an account and use the App) and our legitimate interest in providing and improving the service. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
